For Parents — Safety at Sharks for Students

Sharks for Students is the kid-safe edition of AGA Sharks, built only for ages 13–18. Here is exactly how we keep it safe.

Age verification

Signup requires a date of birth and a live selfie age check that runs on the student's own device — no photo is saved or uploaded. Students estimated to be over 18 are blocked, and a parental consent confirmation is required to join.

Always-on protections

• Profanity is filtered everywhere — posts, comments, messages and bios.
• No NSFW content is ever shown to minors.
• Photo and video uploads are reviewed before they appear.
• Direct messages only work between students who follow each other.
• The student space is fully separate: students cannot see or contact users of the main AGA Sharks site.

Zero tolerance for bullying

Bullying triggers an instant, permanent ban and a complete removal of that student's content. No warnings, no second chances.

School-safe content

Campus Bot posts daily study tips, math tricks, and space and science facts, and the Campus Stars board celebrates helpful students.
